Along the way, we will touch on such related issues as gender/race/class; the art of cooking; energy policy; the environment; vegetarianism; meat production; hunger; disgust; eating disorders and the politics of food. Student activities will include: researching and reporting on food items; keeping short journal accounts on a weekly basis; meeting/interviewing food professionals; and preparing a meal with peers.
