Arts & Sciences Profs are Guggenheim Fellows
Two UW professors are among 189 artists, scholars, and scientists chosen as Fellows by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Michael McCann, Gordon Hirabayashi professor for the advancement of citizenship; and Ann Gale, associate professor of art, were selected from among 2,800 applicants for the prestigious fellowships.

American Academy of Arts & Sciences Fellows
Three members of the UW College of Arts and Sciences faculty - Donald E. Brownlee, Professor of Astronomy; Anthony G. Greenwald, Professor of Psychology; and Raymond B. Huey, Professor of Zoology - have been elected Fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
