The free outdoor MadArt exhibit on the UW campus lets children climb on, walk through or lie under many of the pieces- and even add to one of them.

With autobiographical oil paintings, informational graphics and a wall-sized photomontage, the annual spring exhibition of graduate student art at the Henry Art Gallery offers a lot for the visitor--as it does every year.

Here's a public service announcement if you haven't noticed: there's a monster residing in the Art Building. Curled in the Jacob Lawrence Gallery is a loud, colorful, woven, feathered, bedazzled dragon of a show replete with gnashing teeth, wagging tongue, Hello Kitty decals, and multiple video screens.

The current Painting + Drawing BFA Show held in the Art Building's Jacob Lawrence Gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. Covering the walls of the showroom are works from students receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from the UW's School of Art.
