5. Learn about College Edge & Humanities First, two Arts & Sciences programs for first-year students. (Sign-up for these programs happens in the spring.)
- College Edge helps students kickstart their UW journey through a dynamic 5-credit course and opportunities to connect with faculty and fellow students. Those planning to live on campus can settle into their dorm before autumn quarter begins.
- Humanities First offers the UW's premier undergraduate humanities experience through a series of innovative interdisciplinary courses for first-year students.
6. Check out advice from students and alumni who have been in your shoes, on topics such as double majors, finding your community, strategies for scholarships, finding research opportunities, and more.
7. Apply to the UW by November 15.
8. Commit to the UW by May 1.
