A Home for Every Husky
At some point, every Husky finds a home in the College of Arts & Sciences. As UW’s academic heart, we connect people across campus and the city to build community, pursue meaningful work, and create lasting impact.
We serve more than 15,000 students each year, including rural, first-generation, graduate and undergraduate. Across our four academic divisions, they learn to ask questions boldly and skillfully through inquiry-based scholarship, building a rich foundation of artistic and scientific experiences, and equipping them to become informed and thoughtful citizens.
I am very grateful to have received a scholarship as it allowed me to participate in a Task Force focused on humanitarian action, gender, and disability studies - an intersection I have explored during my time in the Jackson School.
When you make a gift to the College of Arts & Sciences, you're investing in the future by helping our students find their path, their voice, and their passions! You're empowering vital research and creative practice, investing in equity and justice in education, and making an impact in communities near and far.

Broad, flexible funding can help students purchase textbooks and technology, offset research expenses and travel to conferences. This support eases the financial burden on our students to let them do what they do best: learn and explore. It also supports programs that foster critical thinking and community engagement, like gesture and College Edge. These opportunities provide vital learning experiences and community to Arts & Sciences students.
