A T-rex fossil from Montana, a hand-carved Quileute canoe, a whale skeleton “swimming” overhead, the Burke Museum has it all. Watch staff prepare specimens through hallway windows, and explore as much (or as little) as you like. Explore over 4,000 plants from around the world at the UW Biology Greenhouse. Drop in on non-holiday Wednesdays (noon - 4 pm) or the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month (10 am -2 pm) to browse at your own pace. Want a deeper dive? Free docent-led tours, often led by UW grad students, are available by reservation.
