A new Tribal Museum Program is now offered through the Northwest Indian College, thanks to the vision of UW Professor Emeritus James Nason and the involvement of Burke Museum staff.

Floyd Jones honored his wife’s love of theater with a generous gift that made the School of Drama Playhouse Theatre renovation possible.

The School of Drama’s Playhouse Theatre, now the Jones Playhouse, has a long history that includes housing one of the few Negro Theatre Units of the WPA’s Federal Theatre Project in the 1930s.
