As the largest college at the UW, Arts & Sciences has something for everyone. Following a special welcome from Dianne Harris, dean of the college, we’ll help you get a jump start on exploring:
- College Edge: a special program for first-year students that begins four weeks before the start of Autumn Quarter.
- Arts and Sciences Faculty: learn about unique College Edge courses and be introduced to faculty you can study with in the years ahead.
- Resources: programs and opportunities that ensure your success as a student at the UW.

In celebration of your admission to the UW, join us at the College of Arts & Sciences’ Burke Museum, the state’s official museum of natural history and culture located right here on campus! As you walk through the 4.5-billion-year history of the Earth, a self-directed scavenger hunt will guide you to:
