Patricia Shehan Campbell, professor and chair of music education in the UW School of Music, has received a 2021 Golden Apple Award for her work on musical education.

Randall LeVeque, professor emeritus of applied mathematics, and Julie Theriot, professor of biology, have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences.

Sophia Carey, a junior majoring in English and comparative history of ideas and minoring in theatre studies, was awarded the Beinecke Scholarship.
